Well, Sylvester Stallone finds Jesus, but we all know that’s the same thing.
It’s awesome to see more and more celebrities talking openly about their faith in Christ in a world that is increasingly hostile to the message of the gospel. I’ve got a lot of respect for people like Stallone who are willing to talk about their spirituality in a business known for ostracizing anyone who falls outside the status quo.
Now I’m sure a lot of people will claim that Stallone is a Hollywood phony, and they are welcome to think that. I don’t know the man personally and I’m willing to bet he’s never read Noble Man so he doesn’t know me. But his spirituality is strong enough that it creeps into his interviews. When he should be plugging his movie, he’s busy talking about God. That’s a pretty sure sign of the genuine article. Faith is such a driving force in my life that I cannot keep it out of my writing. And I say why even try? If people are offended by my believes so be it. That, after all, is part of the what this country (America, for my overseas readers) was founded on.
